• Design and implement a system of communication for cultural/heritage events within the gallery
• Create accessible and relatable materials to educate others about diversity, equity, and inclusion including recommendations for music, films, readings, essays, and references from a diverse range of sources

• Consulted, researched, and contributed to press releases and exhibition materials for exhibition especially pertaining to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Researched and compiled information on programs happening nationally and internationally at arts institutions, museums, non profits, and city governments related to cultural heritage dates
• Attended the front desk, greeted visitors, and spoke knowledgeably about exhibitions happening across 19 global exhibition sites
• Attended gallery openings and assisted in greeting visitors, managing lines, and preparing to receive VIP clients and guests



VAE RALEIGH  (February 2022 - June 2022)
Exhibitions Intern
• Assisted the Director of Exhibitions in the ideation, planning, and execution of the physical and logistical aspects of VAE’s exhibitions, including solo, juried, and curated exhibitions in 7 venues around the Triangle
• Designed, curated, and installed the exhibition PLAY at Dock 1053
• Installed artwork in gallery spaces using basic tools and rail hanging systems
• Created and promoted calls for artists, designed exhibition materials (labels, webpages, gallery guides, etc), and communicated precisely with artists and exhibition venues
• Used curatorial research to ideate and brainstorm with VAE staff and exhibition partners
• Coordinated art delivery and pick-up and extensively handled artwork (all mediums) for transportation, packaging, and installation
• Staffed exhibition receptions and maintained gallery spaces
• Greeted and spoke knowledgeably about artwork and VAE to visitors of the main gallery



VISIONARY JUSTICE STORYLAB (October 2020 - March 2021)
Resisting Narratives of Erasure Fellow
• Directed and produced experimental documentary We Can Help Each Other Be Brave (2020)
• Created a production schedule and met production deadlines for filming and editing
• Budgeted, planned, and organized film shoot days
• Wrote blog content for VJS website to detail and document creative process
• Participated in screenings and panel discussions to promote community engagement and build audience relationships
